Are you looking for a high-quality, flavorful meat option for your next meal? Look no further than Hilltop ranch-raised Berkshire pork. Delicious bone-in pork chops are not only tasty but also offer a range of benefits that make them a top choice for any family meal.
What makes Berkshire pork special?
Berkshire pork is known for its marbling, which gives the meat a rich flavor and juicy texture. This marbling is a result of the breed's genetics and the way the pigs are raised. The attention to detail in the rearing process ensures that the pork is of the highest quality, making it a favorite among both chefs and home cooks.
Why choose bone-in pork chops?
When it comes to pork chops, bone-in options are often preferred for their enhanced flavor. The bone helps to insulate the meat during cooking, resulting in a juicier and more tender chop. Additionally, cooking meat on the bone can add depth to the overall flavor profile, making each bite more satisfying.

Garlic Herb Butter Bone-In Pork Chops
Ingredients:
4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Optional garnish: Fresh parsley
Instructions:
Prep the Pork Chops:
- Remove pork chops from the refrigerator and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture all over the pork chops.
Sear the Pork Chops:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops.
- Sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crispy on the edges.
Add Garlic and Herbs:
- Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet.
- Tilt the skillet slightly to pool the melted butter and use a spoon to baste the pork chops continuously for about 2-3 minutes.
Finish Cooking:
- Add lemon juice to the skillet. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F (63°C). Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
Rest the Pork Chops:
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute for tender, juicy meat.
Serve and Garnish:
- Drizzle the garlic herb butter from the skillet over the pork chops. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
